Sounds like the pistons in the caliper are not retracting. They can get sticky due to old brake fluid and dirt. I would advice service them. Give the caliper and pistons a good clean. I think there are also kits you can buy to rebuild the caliper (I haven't done this myself), but probably a good cleaning will make them work as they should.
