Yes, but that is a lot more work than sliding the new forks into my existing triple trees and bolting on the brakes. Besides I'm ok with the way the bike handles as is. I schooled a dude on a CBR 600 before. Some stiffer springs, better brakes and shocks that actually dampen, and I'll be able to ride it like my VFR. Oh I might have met some new riding buddies. My neighbor Sam found them, and I took them the back way to RT32. One has a brand new ZX10R, the other a Duc 1098. I'm going to see if I can get them to go riding sometime. Apparently they have a collection of bikes.
