It has ample low end torque for regular and somewhat aggressive driving. It redlines low, so not very good for drag races. My son has ridden it and he says it will blow the doors off the full dress Harley he drives for work. When I ride with him and he drives his 800 Triumph Tiger I can keep up. Unless he really wants to lose me. However I get almost double the fuel mileage he does. I average between 62 and 71 mpg!. That's commuting to work most of the time. I haven't taken it on a long trip yet, but I. imagine that fuel economy will be even better.
