I looked on eBay - search for "Honda VF700" returned over 16,000 items. The plastics go for around $100 each. Speedo and tach around $300. So worst case you could get your money back by just selling everything on eBay. I'd still go in with $200 and go from there. It's a great bike but really how many people will be calling this guy? If you show up and he knows you are going to try and get it running and not just parting it out or chopping it into something he'll give you a deal.
