Paul,

It is incredible. With the midrange cam (similar to the Honda Nighthawk
750, 91-03), the Ninja 650 twin sounds like it is switching gears at 6k
rpm. The supermoto suspension is incredible. It is like liquid acceleration
from 0 to (est.) 100 mph. And the touring capability is icing on the cake
(not for 2-up touring though.)

Oh yeah, it sits upright and no laying on stomach or back, for safety
vision. This is a jewel based on the high selling Ninja 650 so it's cheap:
maybe the cheapest there is if there were comparable models of this
configuration. And nothing 'handles' like a vertical twin (or single)
cylinder: another safety AND fun feature.

The only thing is a 35" seating inseam (tall balls.) So there are lowering
methods, but you need to be 5'-10" to 6'-0" for original engineered
handling, depending on your pants' inseam size.

If you ever get a chance to ride one, do it! I got a 6 month old 2012
holdover for Kelly Blue Book for $5150, 6900 miles. I'm very happy! Maybe
not the best deal, but it is a pearl metal-flake gold dream bike (similar
to VFR pearl white metal-flake paint.)

:-)
