Just found this group and I must say, I am impressed! Any time I venture into a new vehicle, I always try to find a Forum or Group that will compliment my own knowledge etc. I recently picked up a 1985 Nighthawk 650 (Blue) from a gentleman that had it on San Juan Island for the past 21 years. It has 7400 miles on it. It is a fantastic find and other than age related items like fluids, (I changed out and bled off any old fluids) brake lines, (Black braided stainless on the way) 20 year old brakes and tires (on hand/waiting for me to get off my butt and install) this thing idles, and runs like a new motorcycle. Typical Inline Four smoothness, quiet "Whiny" sound of the motor...takes me back about 20 + years to the blue NH 700S I used to own! Thought I would say hello and post a pic of the bike, "Pre" cleaned....just as i got it. Look forward to talking with and learning from the members here. Cool "Map" by the way! I added myself there and will be checking out the locals that own nighthawks. Ken -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
