I bought it about a year ago as a parts bike or to fix up. The PO gave me a
bill of sale and the paperwork to register it in VT. It had obviously been out
in the weather for a few years. A couple of months ago I decided to take the
carbs off and clean them to see if it ran before cannibalizing it. Did that and
it ran and the engine sounded real good, no knocks, cam chain chatter or
anything. So I decided to fix it up rather than use it for parts. I replaced
the tank and painted plastic with a repainted set and new decals, replaced the
starter motor, stator and regulator, rear brakes, etc. cleaned the hydraulics
-clutch and front brake, replaced turn signals, got everything running right
and there you have it. It's done 31k miles, the engine sounds better than most
I have owned and the bike runs fine. It takes a while to warm up. I have lots
of pics I took to put on Craigslist, Graham
