I drain my carbs then pull off the fuel hoes and hook up
A bottle of race fuel and run the bike for about 5 min. to flush
Out all the ethanol
Then I do not worry letting it sit over winter

If you drain the carbs they often leak in the spring. That is why I just doctor
up the gas, and try to ride them when I can during winter , or at least warm
them up every few weeks.
