Zack, Welcome to the group.
I'm not familiar with the 700s, however, I replaced the valve cover gasket on my '92 750. It wasn't too hard. Just follow the repair manual. Last tire I bought, I got from my neighbor who owns a Harley repair shop. I think I got the valve cover gasket from him also. The guy/gals in this group are great, friendly & full of resources.
