The ones I saw still had the baffles in them But had extra holes in the end

Possibilities? I don't recommend this, and something tells me that without making some other modifications, that reducing back pressure could potentially harm your engine. That said, here's a video where a guy removed the back plates for a CB 250. It sounds cheesy to me but then I'm also a Harley owner. Possibilities? I'm don't have the bike here with me at the moment, but I was just thinking, I don't believe there are any rivets at the end of the pipes on the 550. The baffles are literally welded in, so unless I'm mistaken, which is quite possible:) there is no need to have rivets. If I'm right, and there aren't rivets, can I just drill holes into the back of the baffling cover? If so, does anyone have an idea if doing that would somehow mess up the backpressure/air mixture, etc. and have and effect on how the bike runs? I don't need it to be as loud as a Harley, but I honestly can't hear the engine above the wind noise in my full face helmet once I get above 50 mph. I can see that the baffles are welded in. Other than changing the system to a 4 into 1 header or something like that, is there any way to modify the stock exhaust? I only paid $900 for the bike, so I'm not going to spend hundreds on another exhaust.
