Had the same trouble with the pair I picked up at the local Honda dealer...they
claimed they'd fit the 700s an they didn't....Bike Bandit has the OEM grips
still available we picked up a pair off BB for the next replacing of them...for
now the ones we picked up at the shop were a bit longer than yours....so we'll
just keep them on for now an put on the OEMs when these wear out....

Some of you might be surprised to learn that in all my years of motorcycling I
have NEVER had to change out a pair of grips. Until now. Working on my son's
700S and I ordered some grips from eBay that said they were for a 7/8 inch
handlebar and that part is just fine. Diameter is perfect. But the LENGTH is
not!! Check out the distance between the controls and the grip!

I haven't installed the throttle grip yet because, as most of you know, the
plastic on the throttle is WHITE-ish and will REALLY stick out. I'm pretty sure
my son is going to veto these grips and I don't blame him. Have any of you ever
run into this?
