Just because the adjusters show that they are even doesn't mean the tire is perfectly straight. Here's what I do- I bought this from Cycle Gear (http://www.motionpro.com/product/08-0048), then I removed the rod and glued on a small bullet type laser pointer (keychain style). Clamp it on the rear sprocket and read the light from the pointer on the chain at the front sprocket. I thought my tire was aligned, but sure enough it wasn't. Once I used this method, my bike straightened up and felt better. All you do is adjust the wheel until the laser lines up at the sprocket in the same position as where your alignment tool is. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
