Guests are limited to riding as a passenger on the rides and are not permitted to enter a bike into the bike show. Guests who wish to ride their own bike on the rides and/or enter a bike in the bike show may do so by joining the club on-site. A one-year membership is $30.00. The cost of the event is $40.00 for members (guests are free, unless they want a T-shirt, in which case the cost is $10.00). The registration fee covers an event T-shirt, participation in the daily rides, gas for the chase truck, unlimited entries into the bike show and some door prizes to be given away during the event. There will be optional dinners on Friday and Saturday, and an optional brunch on Sunday. The plan for these optional meals is to meet at a designated local restaurant, and everyone will order whatever they want off the menu and pay their own tab (i.e., the registration fee does not include any of the optional meals). If you'd like to attend this event, just show up and pay when you get there (i.e., there is no pre-registration required or available for this event). That said, please RSVP so that we can make sure that we have enough T-shirts in the right sizes and enough bike show trophies. The rally headquarters will be the Hassayampa Inn located at 122 E. Gurley Street in Prescott. The hotel's phone number is (800) 322-1927. Staying at this hotel is encouraged, but not required. There are other hotels nearby, as well as facilities for RVs and camping. Bottom line: stay wherever you want but if you are staying at the Hassayampa Inn tell them you are with the VJMC. The bike show will be held Saturday morning at a location to be announced. Trophies will be awarded. Classes will be determined based on the number and brands/types entered. There will be a ride on Friday afternoon, and a ride Saturday afternoon. Both rides will start and end at the Hassayampa Inn. A chase truck with trailer will be provided. Riders must have a valid motorcycle license, and bikes must have insurance and current registration.
