Could be that the filter screen in the petcock that comes out of the fuel tank is semi plug. You'll have to drain the tank and take the petcock off and unscrew the lower part where that screen is in. At least that is the way it is with my 1992 750. Mine will run but it will not accelerate and I'm 99% sureit's a clogged filter screen
