I have a ST1100 that when I got the bike the previous owner put lower profile tires on it. I think so he could stand flat footed when on the bike. These tired made it almost impossible to put the bike onto the center-stand. I replaced the tires with eom specs and magic, the bike was easy as pie to put on the center-stand. This might be the secret....
