Nice looking bike Glenn, congrats.

I never got to do my write up of things I learned during my trip. I wanted
to share a couple of accessories that I got and really liked during the
journey. One is the grip covers:

These things are cheap and extremely easy to install. Essentially they wrap
around the grips, and close with a little velcro. They come with adhesive,
but I never used it. They make the grips thicker which I love, and reduce
vibration. Highly recommended.

The second thing is the throttle lock. There are many good ones out there,
but also quite expensive (over $100). I was in a hurry so I got a cheap one

Also really simple to install and use. I got it thinking it might only work
for a couple hundred miles, but it actually performed fine during the
entire trip and I still have it. It takes a while to get it to the right
tension such that it will hold for a extended period of time, but once you
get it there is no much to it. I don't really need something that locks the
throttle forever really tight, I just need something that will help me to
take the tension out of my hand. Admittedly, I think I used it for about
100 miles non stop in some of those very long stretches in in the middle of
nowhere.

And another thing I just thought about it. I don't know what they say in
the forums about that bike, but I would also consider getting a radiator
guard. In the case of the C14 it's a must because the radiator seats very
low, but you never know when a rock or piece of debris will hit you and
leave you stranded.
