Yes, I found the same reference. Thanks. Clearly, both will work, but I was wondering which fit the spec in the manual. I'm guessing that "daytime driving" means "not on all the time." Nighttime driving means "on all the time." I also guess this would pertain to tail lights and front directional signals on motorcycles, which are on all the time. So maybe I should be running 1157s.
My'90 PC800 had a 1034 in the front when I bought it, so I took that to be correct. But then again, nothing else was correct on that bike, so I don't know why I assumed that was. In fact, it had spark plugs with mismatched temperatures and the mixture screws were turned out different numbers of turms. Oy vey. The Nighthawk had bulbs that matched the spec in the manual, but what number bulb is that at Advance? In the end, I stuck in a 1034 from NAPA (Advance doesn't carry them), and that was the end of it (until it burns out again). -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
