I have a 1982 cb450sc. While taking the carbs out to clean I promptly lost the compression coil spring between the throttle arms. I have been unable to find one here in the US so without our spending $50 to get it from over seas I am considering making my own.
The questions I have are: 1. Is the spring needed? 2. Does anyone know the dimensions of the original spring and how strong it has to be?
