Can someone go have a look at the wheels on their '83 for me? I told my tire installer that the embossing on the edge of the rim (on one side only) was on the left side of the bike. It appears this only applies to the rear wheel. I told him this as I knew which side the drum was on, on the rear wheel. Anyway, my tires are directional and the front is on backwards because of my screw up. Found this out when I looked which side the speedo gear / cable was on 🙄. Oh well, back to get the front tire flipped around tomorrow I guess.
