mornin' everybody, happy to announce i recently joined the Nighthawk family. picked up an '84 CB700 the other day from the original owner and she's a beaut (the bike not the owner).
she's been sitting for a little bit so i'm giving her a good once over. cleaning up the carbs and fuel tank at the moment. when i pulled the fuel strainer out of the tank i noticed a small tear (image attached). curious what everyone's thoughts are in terms of either replacing it or if there is a way i can patch it up. there's an inline fuel filter installed already so i'm on the fence about forking over $30-40 for a new strainer. hope to get her back on the road soon! - jeff -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
