Remove the headlight and all the wiring is in that bucket. The ignition switch plugs in to the back of the fuse block, which you'll want to remove and clean while you're in there. The 650 has a nasty habit of developing loose connections and arcing which melts the plastic fuse block to the connectors. (http://nighthawk.kylemunz.com/?p=166). Also, you don't want to replace the ignition switch if you can avoid it since that will make you carry different keys for the ignition and fuel. You can try cleaning your switch first, or if necessary swap the electrical bits from the key barrel on your existing switch. ( http://nighthawk.kylemunz.com/?p=600)
