Hi Oldschoolgwin (Paul?) I'm the new Dad of a 83 CB650SC Nighthawk and I think i have the same need as you did for a new tensioner. Never pulled a bike apart before but ok with mechanical things. I did post on here earlier asking about the assembly nhaving a guide and spring that could be worn and the rest is not needed to be replaced by the look of it. So my question is... is there other models of this bike that has an identical spring and / or guide? I am thinking the 550 82 may be a match and for the life of me can't find a part number unless it is the same as on WesternHonda.com 14514-ME5-010 Any help would be great
