There are two wires coming off of that signal, Orange (positive) and Green
(Ground). The right signal and the license plate lite all use that same
ground, so if they illuminate you can assume the ground is good, just
double check the left turn signal's connector going into that ground. The
orange wire also goes to a connector under the seat, check that connector
for 12v with the flasher switched on. If you have voltage there then double
check the connector itself, if you don't then follow that wire up to the
front behind the headlight bucket. There the it splits off for the left
front signal, the indicator on the dash, and the left hand control. If the
front signal and the indicator all blink then you know you've got power to
that connector bundle, you just have to check that the one for the rear
didn't come loose. The only other possibility is a break in that orange
wire between the front and the rear, but I would consider that unlikely.
