My "two cents" worth..... I always wondered why Honda even made a chrome rack for the Nighthawk-S, when all the trim on the bike is gloss black (yes, I know they also sold am gloss black one).....Most of my racks are already gloss black, but I've also taken a chrome one, and had it powder coated gloss black, so it matched the bike better.....I actually like the lines/look of the bike without the rack, and without the factory (or any) luggage on it, but have 2 bikes with the factory "HondaLine" luggage (I can't have all 42 bikes looking the same).
