We had a REAL HARD time getting my son's axle bolt loose to tighten his chain. We ended up running down to the store and buying some spray to get it loosened up and REALLY had to douse it to get it to budge. Must've been over-tightened. But we finally got it and got his chain reasonably tight (within specs anyway). He had a good 2 inches of slack in it before we started. :/
