I agree, but that's the tricky thing about the turns. If you need to lock
the brakes, I agree locking the rear is better and probably just take the
slide. But for a slight braking during a turn, front brake should be used
with lots of care. On the twisty roads I normally ride steady on the
throttle and with one or two fingers on the front brake. So to slightly
reduce speed, rather than closing the throttle I apply some front braking.
That way I avoid front diving and/or loose of traction.
