This is fun, but there's no way it is real (although I haven't verified
this with snopes). I've been reading the work of Japanese writers and
translators since 1989 as a writing teacher and proofreader, so I'm
familiar with all their mistakes, and they would never ever write like
this. There are many, many dead giveaways, but one is the use of the word
"skid." The Japanese would NEVER use the word "skid," as they will always
use the word "slip," which is now a Japanese word. Even the road signs in
Japan use the word "slip." I've been teaching them for years to say "My
car skidded on the ice," not "My car slipped on the ice." Again, it's fun,
but it can't be authentic.
