Regular oil is smoother shifting, but when you only have 2 quart engine oil
capacity, like s Versys 650, you are always chancing an engine meltdown for
any oil deviations. Ymmv, but I NEED the best Motul Synthetic. Thank
goodness Ninja engines are Versys 650 engine twins, minus cam shafts and
it's only a two grand to replace to an almost brand new engine including
labor and a rentacar! I love Jap bikes :-)

The best Motul synthetic does not shift too bad either.
