I found what i believe to be the perfect match engine for my 1984 Honda CA659sc. Strangely the valve cover on the new engine has a additional flange that juts off the back right side of the cover. It doesn't appear to attach to anything. Might it have been from a different model. All other aspects of the cover are the same. Any ideas what the extra section is for. It does have two threaded holes on the bottom. Thinking of just swapping to my other cover. Just want to make sure it's not a mistake.. New on left with additional flange. stock on right without flange.
