The LEDs don't create enough resistance for the flasher unit. There are
kits to add resistors inline to please the flasher but that defeats the
purpose of LEDs. You can also get a new flasher unit that works off of a
timer rather than resistance. Or, you can go back to bulb style turn
signals.
