There may be "off-the-rack" shock options for the 750 and would look into 
those first. I could not find anything for the 700S, which has been out of 
production for a decades and has unusually long shocks. Ended up having the 
US importer for YSS build me a custom pair and have been thrilled with 
them. Not cheap, but cheaper than the really fancy stuff and light years 
ahead of the worn originals. At the same time, rebuilt front forks with 
cartridge emulators, custom rate springs and heavier oil for more damping 
and it now has wonderful, balanced handling. Still some odd behavior on 
turn-in from that raked out front end and 16" front tire, but that's part 
of the bike's personality. Even took it to a couple of track days a few 
years back and putted around at a semi-reasonable pace in the novice group 
:-) It was definitely a conversation starter.
