Hi I need to remove the mirror on the clutch master cylinder assembly of my 1983 NH 650. It doesn't want to budge. I'm worried that it has left hand threads as some mirrors do to keep the wind from loosening them, and that I am actually tightening it when trying to turn it to the left (counterclockwise that is).
Do both mirrors on a 1983 NH 650 have normal right hand threads? By the way, I'm doing this because I need to replace the deteriorated sight glass on the clutch master cylinder reservoir. I bought a kit on ebay for this purpose that only includes a new piece of glass and two new screws for the reservoir cap. The kit does not include an o-ring or metal ring that would go around the glass. Anybody replace their sight glass with success? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
