The fuseblock on the 650 is right underneath the headlight bucket, and the
plugs on the back get loose with age. If you were tugging on the wires it's
possible they came disconnected. Especially check the plug with the
red/black wires, it gets loose and begins to arc and will melt the plastic
fuseblock.
