I bought a ’95 Nighthawk 750. It runs well. However, it is difficult to shift, especially into Neutral when idling. I adjusted the clutch cable – shortened it so that presumably the clutch will disengage. However, after multiple minor adjustments, it remains very hard to shift, or goes into neutral more easily but slips upon acceleration (when cable is over-shortened). I am willing – not eager – to open up the clutch, but first want to know if anyone has had the same problem.
