Seems my loom harness on my NH650 SC83 is shot or getting there and I need a replacement...anyone got one for sale or know where I can get one thanks in advance ...e bay ones do not look good... Also the link box left and right...(what kind of metal is this for welding purposes it looks like cast iron or something cast) between the exhausts are badly corroded as a result of all the cowshit on the country roads here in Ireland anyone any suggestions about fixing this without a full replacement as the exhaust pipes are ‘reasonably’ ok ..all advice greatly appreciated...anything on other models compatable?

Changing my indicators to LED. I’m not familiar with LED, so can somebody point me in the right direction as to what type ( wattage, size etc ) I will need. Also, some people say use resistors, others say change the relay. Is there a straight swap relay that fits the NH that will give the correct pulse rate. Back to top '83 blinkers not working... again... <http://groups.google.com/group/nighthawk_lovers/t/27dca2a6d6097b31?utm_source=digest&utm_medium=email> Tommy Hill <[email protected]>: Oct 16 04:08AM -0700 I have also seen where people have reinstalled the flasher upside down. The open (non-molded) end should be down so it won’t hold water. Donny Ravioli <[email protected]>: Oct 16 06:39AM -0700 RPMs don't matter. I tried holding it in different positions when it didn't work thinking gravity might make it easier for the switch to close... no effect. My new flasher came in yesterday. It's not round with a metal case. It's rectangular with a plastic case. But it plugged right in and works perfectly (for the 30 seconds I played with it). Hopefully the problem does not return. Graham Rogers <[email protected]>: Oct 16 10:31AM -0400 I often found on the CB650SC the draw on the battery below 2500 RPMs was enough to prevent the turn signals from working properly. A little time above that RPM level and they usually came back to functioning properly - as long as there were no other issues.
