Hi All, I bought a 1984 650cc bike in pieces as a project. It was a bike I owned some years or so ago. I originally bought it when it was first imported into the UK in 1996 and it has some sentimental value. The previous owner has completely stripped the original engine down and put it in a number of boxes in no particular order.
The bike came with a second complete engine which I have just started work on and realized form the stamp on the barrels that this engine is a 700cc version. Does anyone know if any of the parts are interchangeable as I suspect that the original engine may not be complete? I have done some searching on the internet and it appears that although the engines are visually similar there are some differences. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
