As far as I know the 650 exhaust will not fit, you would have go aftermarket to achieve this. Maybe not what your looking for. Enjoy your bike!

Hello Paul and All,

wonderful forum, thank you.

I am the proud new owner of a '85 700S, 39K mi., and in excellent shape, thanks to the previous owner.

Since March 1st I have put just over 1K mi. on her, wonderful!

She even has a name now, Celine; we are in love already.

She's my 5th bike (I am now old), 4th Honda (1 Suzuki was enough!),

and biggest bike yet; at first I thought she was too much for me at my age, and I still think

that (maybe I should have imported a Honda Wave 125 from Thailand, also a winner), but we are getting

along better, and I am trying to remain slow and cautious, but she makes that hard, since she's

not really made for Grampa driving.

I would have bought her just so I could hear her engine purr, love that sound!

My only previous post, a couple mo. ago, was about a plastic rattling sound at low speed, quite annoying to me;

I figured it was coming somewhere from the fairing area, so I stuffed a black sock in-between the windscreen and

the top of the counsel/headlight housing, eureka! Not very professional but it did the job.

Eventually, the only thing for sure I would like to change is to go to the chrome exhaust that I see on the

'83 650, can someone tell me if that fits on the '85 700S?

Two other thoughts of possible changes also are: is it possible to mount a Euro models rear disc brake on

our US drum model?

And, while I like the mini-bikini, I wish the actual windscreen went high enough to do some good;

anyone have some suggestions on that?

Does anyone have a shop manual they would sell?
