OK... I'll admit it up front... I have neglected my Nighthawk over the last few years. No judgments... suffice it to say life has been a bit complicated for a while and the bike has just not been high on my priority list. I hope to change that.
But before I can... I need to get the carbs cleaned. In typical Nighthawk fashion, the bike will start and run with the choke on... but as soon as you open the choke it dies. I would give myself an "intermediate" ability to wrench on the bike but I know my limitations... and carbs are one of them. I know some of you live around Maryland and Pennsylvania, so do you happen to have a reputable resource who can clean/rebuild them for me? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
