My original problem was #1 cylinder taking a lot longer to warm up compared
to the other three. I stripped, cleaned and synched the carbs and the
problem was cured. The bike starts well if I use it regularly, but if I
don’t start the bike for 2-3 weeks, it takes quite a while before it starts
erratically. 1-2 minutes later it runs fine. I’m wondering if it’s the fuel
taking it’s time to fill the carbs, but wouldn’t there still be fuel in the
bowls ( there are no leaks ).
