Aftermarket fuseboxes are around. If you're patient and don't mind mapping the fuses and wires with a voltmeter set to TONE, you can see what goes where and just re wire a replacement fuse block. Also worth learning the bike wiring color codes. Hard at first and then very simple to grasp.
Old bikes really need all shiny points to be sanded back to shiny, and then have dielectric grease applied.
