Hi,

I just sent off this message to Rob, but I forgot to include the NILO
mailinglist. Does anyone else have hints on where to look?

I've altered the NILO sources so they would build with OSKit 20010214, and
have built the nilo-image (I assume this how you tested the code as well; if
not, please tell me how instead).

I've started it in Bochs (x86 emulator) and right after GRUB loads and
decompresses nilo.gz, Bochs panics and gives the following output:

bochs: panic, prefetch: running in bogus memory

NILO doesn't get a chance to put anything on the screen (I verified that by
letting Bochs wait for a few seconds right before exiting).

My question is if this is similar to the behaviour you saw while testing; a
spontaneous reboot or crash right after the (semi-)kernel was started?

If not, could you please explain what you did get, and if you didn't use the
nilo-image, what did you build from the source tree instead?

Meanwhile, I'm going to try to isolate the problem in the NILO source, and
see if it's fixable.
