Stefan, I _really_ liked your post - until the last paragraph. What's wrong
with people coming to a new technology ("new" from their perspective) and
asking questions to find out if they want to continue with this technology? In
my opinion, there's nothing moronic about that, but it's completely normal and
legitimate. (By the way, my impression is you get too hung up on "smart" vs.
"dumb" people. Everyone is "smart" in some situations and "dumb" in others,
that's just human.)
Back to the actual topic, I agree that show-casing uses of Nim on the website
could help. Actually, for a little-known language like Nim, a "show, don't
tell" approach makes a lot of sense. Without examples and just a description of
language features, you can't tell if the language could be useful in theory or
if it's actually used (and how).
