I'm trying to get a baseline for what is normal, and what have changed, is it something in the compiler that have changed the last year or so that is well known and understood, probably not. Or is it something on my end that I changed, probably.
But before I try to optimize my setup it would be nice to know what the expected goal would be when I do not do anything wrong on my end, roughly speaking of course, +-2X for hardware etc. The daily cycle of of edit-compile-run, what is the expected turnaround time for a small one man project? What would you say is roughly a normal compile time for a 1000 line program that includes only modules from the standard library?
