What's up guys! Wanted to share with the community that this coming Monday, I launch a paid service that uses a software I wrote with Nim. I do SEO for a living, basically it's making websites rank/show up higher in the search engines when you search for something. This software will generate a report that helps other SEOs rank their websites much faster with better accuracy. I finished up a couple days ago and spending this weekend promoting. I have roughly 50ish customers waiting for Monday already and I'm pretty stoked about it.
I plan on donating a percentage of my profits to support Nim's development. I also plan to dial my workload back some and start a YouTube channel to help newcomers here both learn Nim and point them in the right direction so they can make money from this language. I've yet to find a job posting on Upwork.com for Nim (for freelance work) but I'll be damned if there's not other opportunities out there to make some some serious coin. Going to feel pretty good when I make that first dollar!
