sorry for the cheek, you responded with admirable grace. My answer is I'd like to see more sugar over variants, (in the spirit of the libraries that implement interfaces with macros, e.g. mratsims "emulate_classes_with_ADTs" kind of thing.
I think a lot can be (is being!) done to make typeclasses & concepts more stable and useable. Really polishing sum types and pattern matching, which are already solidly in Nims wheelhouse. being a jack of all paradigms hasn't done Nim any favours, I don't think. Of course I love the flexibility, but (as this is a thread about why to learn Nim) 'it does everything above average' isn't as attractive as 'it is amazing at _this_ ' (yes, macros, I know, but they're hard. I celebrate what pattern matching is bringing to them)
