Strange compilation error with Nim 1.4.6 on Mac

after upgrading to 1.6.0 the resulting exe did run ok. and after "choosenim 
1.4.8" also no problems.

I think I had an inconsistent mess before on both my systems after installing 
different versions of nim in different ways.
