Like @carterza, I'm also very much a Nim user who reports more bugs than fixes them, and I tend to agree with @carteza's thoughts. Unlike him, however, I do use exceptions and effects, which brought up a thought for me.
Maybe I'm a bit out of the loop, but I was curious if there was ever a "Nim survey", similar to the Haskell one: <https://haskellweekly.news/survey/2021.html>. Perhaps something like this would help better define what "lean" and "simple" mean for the people who use the language? I think Dlang did this at one point as well.
