Macros: why and/or when to use them?

The manual says "suffices" instead of "do the job" which is equally ambiguous 
and the actual wording I was trying to complain about, rather than your wording 
specifically, sorry if it came out wrong. I am merely complaining about the 
wording, I agree with the underlying thought.
