Where to start with creating direct Qt bindings?

True, but those are not direct, that's QML. I was thinking more in the line of 
something like:

  * NimForUE <https://github.com/jmgomez/NimForUE>
  * cinterop <https://github.com/n0bra1n3r/cinterop>
  * or something similar
