As for useful app, an IDE with a GUI designer is always a candidate. However, it is not a `little` one.
Sorry, I am not to be offensive, but I think tranditional GUI widgets are so common, so that we can't make any `cute` app from them. For `cute` face, maybe * `Radial Progress Bar` * `progress text` (sorry, I don't know its real name. see below) * widgets of `directUI` style, for example, controls on the interface on <https://github.com/blueantst/DuiVision>
